Current Issues with ZeroDefect


0751 - Public Views do not work once the originating user is deleted.
Public views belong to the creating user. If that user is removed then their views are no longer accessible.
Workaround.
Use one account to create public views and don't delete that account. Disable it instead.

0750 - Notes fail to save in SQL Anywhere when the contain a single quote.
Notes where not being properly formatted to handle single quotes in the SQL statement.
Workaround.
Use double quotes.

0749 - Issue gets error on Due Date Field when loading.
User had imported their old issue management database into ZeroDefect. The date control was set to handle dates only back as far as January 1, 1997. They had dates going back to 1992.
Workaround.

Version 2.4 ZeroDefect will now accept due dates back as far as 1980.
0746 - ZeroDefect GPF's when previewing reports.
If you previewed the same report twice, setting filters each time, and then tried to preview a different report, ZD would GPF.
Workaround.
Close the reports menu after multiple previews.

0739 - Reports can't be run in newly installed PC's
This is due to the fact that Crystal needs an ODBC driver set up for Access databases. ZeroDefect normally provides this automatically.
Workaround.
From the control panel of a working PC, look at the ODBC driver for your database and then recreate it manually.
